Dinner Sour

Linus Morgan, Food & Beverage Manager at Hernö Gin Bar in Stockholm, created the Dinner Sour for a cocktail dinner with Markiz Tainton during Hernö Gin Cocktail Awards 2024.

Ingredients
  • 50ml Hernö Old Tom Gin
  • 25ml Milky Oolong Grenadine*
  • 2 dash Angostura Bitter
  • 20ml Lime Juice
  • 2 Dash Salt
Preparation

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake everything for about 10 seconds. Strain into a glass (no ice). Garnish with orange zest. Served with Swedish Kroppkaka filled with venison, browned butter with herbs, crispy side pork and spicy lingonberries at Hernö Gin Cocktail Awards 2024. * MILKY OOLONG GRENADINE -500ml pomegranate juice -2,5 dashes of orange blossom water -2,5cl Hernö Navy Strength Gin -2,5cl Aperol -20g Milky Oolong Tea -600g sugar Mix everything cold, stir until sugar is completely dissolved, leave for 24 hours in a canteen in the fridge. Strain into a glass container. Lasts up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
