Taki Li was crowned as the winner of Hernö Gin Cocktail Awards in Dala, Home of Swedish Gin, on August 26, 2023. Her cocktail is a tribute to the apple and to her heritage and family traditions. Ringo is the name of a apple variety and the winning cocktail is uniting Sweden and Hong Kong with ingredients from the Swedish nature and memories from Takis childhood. ”The Apple Coriander Mixed is a cold fruit soup that my mother used to serve on hot summer days when I was a child”, se tells.

Ingredients
- 30 ml Hernö High Coast Terroir Gin 2023
- 60 ml Apple Coriander Mixed*
- 20 ml Hernö High Coast Terroir Gin 2023 infused with wild blueberry
Preparation
Pour 30 ml Hernö High Coast Terroir Gin 2023 and 60 ml Apple Coriander Mixed into a shaker filled with ice. Roll 3–4 times. Strain into at to a tumbler glass with a big ice cube. Float Hernö High Coast Terroir Gin 2023 infused with wild blueberry on top. Garnish with an apple cube and a coriander flower. *Apple Coriander Mixed 100 g sliced apple 10 g coriander 200 g water 50 g honey 10 g salted plum powder from Hong Kong Cook all ingredients for 15 minutes. Let it rest for 15 minutes. Strain the mixture and let it cool.
